Clothing Guidelines

Hi! I have not been here for a couple of weeks. Have been quite busy. Today, I got hold of a portion of Outfit Guidelines. Credit goes to Colleen Hammond, author of Dressing with 'dignity. I feel that it is worth posting here even just a portion of it.

Top: Is the blouse, shirt or top well designed. When shopping for a top, here are a few tips to keep in mind.
First, try it on in front of a mirror and bend over, How far does the neckline drop away from your chest? Can you see down your top to your chest? Or, worse yet, your belly button? If you can see down y9our shi8rt, then so can everyone else.
Second, when wearing a knit shirt, take your fingertips and press them into your shirt over your breastbone. When you take your hand away, does the shirt immediately spring back? If so, the shirt doesn't work because it is too tight. (Well-endowed ladies need to be extra careful).

I will start with these two first. Promise, I will come back to share with you the rest. My goal is that to write about fashion and decency in my coming posts.

See you again.

Month of Love

We are now in the month of February, a month known for love. Since this is the case, I am planning to include here some quotations that have to do with love, not necessarily romantic love. Love is something beautiful. Everyone is in need of love and in need to give love. I would even like to add that when one is filled up with authentic love, she naturally glows. Can we say, it is the safest cheapest cosmetics.

By the way, I am reading another book. It is entitled: It is so You. Nice and practical one for those who would like to be in the art of dressing up and looking good.
